DirectionsSouthbound:Take exit 117 of the Garden State Parkway and follow signs for Rt. 36 south. Follow this for about 12 miles until just before the drawbridge over the Shrewsbury River. Make a right turn onto Portland Ave. Make an immediate right onto Hillside Ave. Follow this to Lighthouse Ave. where you will bear left. Follow this to the lighthouse. Northbound: Take exit 105 of the Garden State Parkway and follow signs for Rt. 36 north towards Long Branch. Go about 6 miles to East Long Branch where Rt. 36 makes a left picking up Ocean Blvd. Follow this for about 5 1/2 miles, past the entrance to Gateway National Recreation Area, over drawbridge and then make an immediate right, looping under Rt. 36. Here you will see Highland Ave. follow this to Lighthouse Ave. where you will bear left. Follow this to the lighthouse. |
