Sir,
On the adjustment of your accounts is Superintendent of the Light house
at Sandy Hook, in the State of New York, for the quarter ending
December 31st, 1796, a balance is stated to be due to you from the
United States, of two hundred and forty eight Dollars, and eighty nine
cents, which corresponds with that exhibited by you to the Treasury,
and for which a warrant will be Issued agreeably to your request in
favor of Mr. John Stagg, Junior.
